Making preserves from locally grown produce following time-honoured family recipes has been the hallmark of Traditional Country Preserves since it opened in Marlborough 14 years ago.

Located beside the Saint Clair Café and Winery on Selmes Road, Rapaura, it operates as an independent cottage industry, selling the gourmet foods, preserves and jams it makes on site.

With emphasis placed on the qualities and flavours of fresh, local produce like plums, blueberries, lemons, apples, feijoas and garlic, all are complimented with a wide range of local wine.
