We strongly recommend that your read and understand these terms as they affect your rights as a consumer and your liabilities. These terms describe the basis for purchase by you and sale by us of the products listed for sale on this web site.

Definitions & Interpretation
In these Terms and Conditions the following words have the following meanings:

  • Delivery Area: The Delivery Area includes only addresses within New Zealand, specifically the North Island and the South Island.
  • Goods: The range of products which are available for purchase from our Web Site in accordance with the Terms;
  • Web Site: Traditional Country Preserves presence on the world wide web, accessible via the Internat address www.traditionalcountrypreserves.co.nz.

Basis of the Sale
An agreement for us to sell you Goods is made on these terms when we accept an order made by you via our Web Site. The description of the Goods and the price (which includes Goods & Services Tax) are set out in the order page and the calculated delivery costs are displayed at the checkout. We will confirm acceptance of your order after order processing.

Description of Goods
It is our intention to give you a clear description of the nature of the Goods we sell. However, there may be slight variations in size, shape and colour between different specimens. Illustrations, descriptions and other information as to products are approximate and for guidance only. We may in our sole discretion from time to time vary the nature of the Goods from that described without notice to you, so long as these variations are not misleading.

Details of the Order
The quantity, quality and description of the Goods will be those set out in your order (if accepted by us). Orders are accepted at our sole discretion, but are normally accepted if the Goods are available, you are based in the Delivery Area and your credit or account card is authorised for the transaction. We cannot accept orders from outside New Zealand. The Goods available via our Web Site are only available for sale to you if you are based in our Delivery Area.

Price of the Goods
The price of the Goods shown on each products display page is for that item only, which may be a single item, a group, set or array of items, and includes Goods & Services Tax. Our charges for transport and packaging are either calculated on the checkout page and included in the total price for the Goods or, where the Goods are required to be transported to you via freight, a rate will be calculated on receipt of your order and the total cost approved by you before the Goods are despatched.

Payment Terms
If paying by credit card, we will charge your account for payment upon receipt of your order unless delivery cannot be fulfilled within 30 days. Items likely to be available for delivery at a time greater than 30 days will be charged up to 7 days prior to despatch. If payment is made by cheque, please allow at least five working days for the cheque to clear before the order is processed. If paying by direct deposit, a member of our finance team will contact you to discuss a payment plan with you. We accept no liability if a delivery is delayed because you did not give us the correct payment details. If it is not possible to obtain full payment for the Goods from your account on delivery of the Goods to you, we can cancel the order or suspend any further deliveries to you. This does not affect any other rights we may have.

Acceptance of Terms & Conditions
By submitting an order for Goods to be supplied to an address provided by you, you indicate your acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined on these pages.
